Melinda J. Rucks
Graduate Student
I am a third year PhD graduate student at Stony Brook University working under Dr. Timothy Glotch and Dr. John Parise. My current research interests include the derivation of optical constants for low symmetry minerals for the application in remote sensing of planetary bodies. I am also interested in the formation of sub-micron and nano-minerals within meteorites as a result of the extreme pressures and temperatures which result from impacts.
