Statistical Analysis
We considered a minimum of five animals per group. The parameters used
to display the results were mean and standard deviation. First,
Shapiro-Wilk test was used for normal distribution evaluation. Then,
outliers were removed using Grubbs test. Finally, the minimum
significance level with 95% confidence interval (p) was calculated
using Student’s T-test when comparing two groups or one-way analysis of
variance (ANOVA) with Tukey-Kramer post-test when comparing multiple
groups (multiplicity adjusted p-value). All statistical tests were
performed on GraphPad Prism® 6.01 software by GraphPad
Software, Inc. (La Jolla, CA, USA).
